The present paper proposes to explore the metaphysical echoes in the poetry of Gopaldas Neeraj. Neeraj's poetic compositions exhibit a very unique aesthetic and philosophical perception of life. He sees earthly existence as a complex web of joys and sorrows, hopes and despairs, illusions and revelations. Many of his poems echo metaphysical contemplations, questions related to the meaning of life, the position of man in the cosmos, the inevitability of death, and the quest for transcendence. Neeraj's metaphorical depth, philosophical insights, and emotional resonance together create poetic experiences that move beyond the mundane realities of life. By interpreting selected poems of Neeraj, this paper focuses on the philosophical intensity embedded in his poetic vision and attempts to understand how metaphysical awareness shapes his overall artistic expression.
