Neeraj Kumar
Born and brought up in a respectable family of academicians, Dr. Neeraj Kumar (b.1969) is a Professor in P.G.Dept. of English and Research Centre, Magadh University, Bodh-Gaya. He did his M.A. and Ph.D. in 1993 and 2001 respectively from Magadh University, Bodh-Gaya. He started his teaching career from A.M. College, Gaya in November,1996 and was subsequently transferred to University Department of English in January,2001.He has teaching experience of about 23 years.He has actively participated and presented scholarly research papers in more than fifty National and International Seminars and Conferences.He has seven books to his credit:

Besides, he has also written more than fifty research papers, published in reputed Journals.He has successfully supervised eight Ph. D scholars; six are still working under his supervision. He is also supervising one D. Litt Scholar. He was selected for the Associateship at Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla for three consecutive years i.e. 2011-2013. He organized three UGC-Sponsored National Seminars in the Dept.of English,Magadh University, Bodh-Gaya in 2012,2015 and 2018 respectively. He is the Executive member of Comparative Literature Association of India for the session 2018-2021. He was also Executive member (East Zone) of All India Association for English Studies for the sessions 2011-14 and 2014-2017.At present he is working on a post-doctoral project entitled "Androcentric Milieu and the Female Psyche : A Comparative Study of Kamala Markandaya's and ManjuKapur's Major Novels". He presented a paper on Dalit Literature and also chaired a session in XXI World Congress organized under the aegis of ICLA at University of Vienna (Austria) during July 21st-27th,2016. In 2018, he was invited to the University of Malaysia,Penang to present his paper in the International Conference on Literature:Contemporary Perspectives in Postcolonial and Diasporic Literature and Theory. In July 2019,he presented a paper entitled "Women as Subaltern in Patriarchal Construct: A Comparative Study of Mahasweta Devi's Mother of 1084 and Tehmina Durrani's Blasphemy" at XXII General Congress of International Comparative Literature Association,organized at University of China,Macau,China .In addition to all these,he has been invited to several universities for delivering lectures on different aspects of Literature.
